Biography
A Palestinian poet and writer from the city of Rafah. She writes prose poetry, and her work explores questions of the body, existence, fear, and war through language marked by dense imagery and a resistance to conventional poetic forms. She contributed to the poetry anthology Gaza, Land of the Poem, published by the Arab Institute for Research and Publishing in 2021.
On Trace of the Tide, she says: “Trace of the Tide has become a witness to both absence and survival: a place bearing the traces of homes, a time suspended between fear and waiting, and what remains of the language we cling to so that their names are not lost.”
